History of the Coin:
The 1984 Olympic silver dollar was designed by Robert Graham, an American sculptor, who also created the sculpture placed at the entrance of the Los Angeles Coliseum. The obverse features Graham's sculpture with the Coliseum in the background. The reverse features an American eagle.
It's the only 90% silver US coin minted in 1984 and makes a highly detailed coin ring.
